Tipsy Tarpon: Your Waterfront Culinary Escape in Crystal River

The food was very good a served to us quickly. The blackened redfish was very tasty and a great value for the price. My stepson ordered a shrimp salad and it came with a TON of shrimp. Very delicious also. We loved sitting outside under the tiki hut. It felt like a real beach!

Hands down best service I’ve had in a while. Fish tacos were cook perfectly and boiled peanuts are made in house. Great drink options and they are an area to pull your boat up. They have plenty of parking and walking distance from town. A great weekly hangout spot.

Wonderful hangout place, it is right on the water in Crystal River. It has a relaxed and casual atmosphere with great service. We have been there twice, and it is definitely worth the drive from Chiefland. They have had live music on the weekends, and both times the artists were on point. We will be back very soon!

This was the perfect spot for lunch. We had a fish sandwich and tuna nachos. Both were prepared perfectly. The place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again when in the area.

We loved this place!!!! We went back every day we were nearby. Completely open to the beautiful salty, sunny waterfront surroundings. So many options of where to hang out. Sit at the bar, stand at individual tiki huts set up in an area covered in sand, sit at the waters edge out in the sun, sit overlooking the water under the large tiki covering, or sit at tables. Lively and often live music. Fun drink options along with all the traditional stuff. Wonderful food. We ordered the steamed shrimp every time we went. But changed up other food like the ahi tuna nachos, clam strips, redfish baskets. All delicious. Service was excellent except Saturday night and even then it wasn't terrible. We seemed to be an annoyance to the server. Not a big deal, but if that had been our first experience we may not have been as keen on going back. But, again, we love the place.

Tasha was awesome! She gave great recommendations, was super friendly and personable and made us feel right at home in a brand new town. Would highly recommend the redfish platter and fish dip. With the atmosphere, service and sunset over the water, you can’t beat this place! Thanks Tasha <3 your orlando friends! We will be back!

Great location right on the water. The ahi tuna nachos were divine. Plenty of tuna and very reasonable. Service was good even when they were busy. Walking distance from our hotel made it even better.
